Year 4 Day 41- Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaals

by admin on October 13th, 2006

Well I turned in my goals for the year, and they were so well written that they’ve become the example for the rest of our staff. Now I have everyone else asking me to write their goals.

No thanks.

My wife brought me lunch yesterday and ate with me. One kid made the comment. ‘Is that your wife? TEAR IT UP!’

Thanks champ.

In homeschool related news…

I’ve got my first student of the year. A second grader with a broken leg. I haven’t had one that was under 14 for a long time…should be interesting.

Also, in an attempt to make some extra Christmas cash I’m working at a local pumkin patch. Yes, the captain is not too proud to pimp pumpkins for some extra cash. So far I’ve weighed and sold pumkins, picked pumkins for the elderly, driven a bunch of kids in a tractor (which was the first time I’ve ever driven a tractor) Finally they put me in a barn with a bunch of paints and made me paint signs….which was WAY more my thing. They liked my signs so much they said they would refer me to some other companies they work with. That’s nice.

This weekend I will be working the corn maze. I have no idea what that consists of, but I’ll be either in front of it…or perhaps wandering inside it looking for lost people.

It pays. That’s what matters.
