I didn’t have anything exciting happen on Friday. SO I didn’t post.

But here is today’s

OK it gets to the point where things start to shape up like making you NOT want to be here, like making it easy to just sever ties with the district and move on. I have no real OPTIONS yet to move on, but it’d be pretty east. Here’s my running list of reasons.
1) I do detention on my break every day… .or most days if the security guard is busy… Then I get grief for not going out to do duty during a break… .I should just STOP doing detention all together, considering it’s my right to have a duty free break.
2) My basketball-coaching job. I love doing it; I don’t get paid a lot. I have to drive a long way. I don’t get teams that will win a lot of games, then I get calls telling me that I have to cancel practice if I can’t make it RIGHT when I say I’ll be there… I don’t always know when I’ll be able to get there… things happen, people need to talk to me. I sometimes get there at 3:20 instead of 3:30. It’s not a huge deal. Considering they have a real hard time finding coaches at ALL. Then my other concern is it’s a long drive, and on away games it’s easier if I just meet them at the place we’re playing if it’s south of the school, then drive ALL the way up there get on a bus, drive ALL the way to the game then all the way back, then get back in my car and come all the way down again… And now that we have a girls coach, it shouldn’t be a problem. But I have to still ride the bus… .It just adds more on me than I already do.

So basically now, if I could go somewhere else, I would. I would be fine not coaching up there again, and it has nothing to do with the kids. I could leave here and not have to deal with the being under appreciated for things I really don’t even HAVE to do. It’s like complaining about someone doing your laundry, when they do it for free… “You need to use more softener, more soap, etc.” Why would you do it… .or if they didn’t do it for one day… wouldn’t you just be like, cool they took a break… fine… it’s something they do for free anyway. That’s basically what happened. I may just stop doing it all together.
