Daily School Journal Day 45 (AM)

by admin on October 22nd, 2003

It’s blood drive today. Which means more kids donating their bodily fluids for free pizza and juice. It’s sort of sad, we have to bribe kids with free pizza, and free credits to give blood. I don’t give blood, but I can’t be bribed either. I mean I guess I would, if I felt like it. I’m usually just getting over a cold when they have the drive, so I just can’t.

I’m at that point that occurs every so often where my job is just too discouraging, and depressing. You try hard to enjoy it, and make the best of it, but it gets to you every so often. It’s when you look at the fact that you can’t enjoy your life outside of work, because you work to pay the bills. The money goes too fast. So you’re working a miserable job to sit at home and do nothing. Then you have to try and find other things to do to make up income. It’s not a fun way to live. Someone once said that the two most important things in life are your job and whom you marry. I think it went on to say that you need both to be good to be happy. If one isn’t good it messes up the other. You can’t enjoy work if you’re unhappy at home, and you can’t enjoy home if your unhappy at work. Work sucks.
